This is a low power consumption OV7251 camera module. It uses a global shutter to reduce or eliminate unwanted image artifacts that occur with conventional rolling shutter image sensors due to motion during image capture. The module's global shutter and excellent low-light sensitivity make it useful for any application requiring gesture detection, head and eye tracking, and depth and motion detection.

The black and white sensor used in this module utilizes the industry's smallest global shutter pixel and is capable of capturing VGA (640×480) resolution video at 120 frames per second and QVGA at 180 fps with merge and skip (320×240), QQVGA (160×120) captured at 360 fps. Its high frame rate makes it an ideal solution for low-latency machine vision applications.
